So for this second video, i tried to find something on TeacherTube Videos that will show how a good videos can be with great citation at the end. However, let me tell you that i struggled to find something that was well cited at the end of the presentation or video.
I look for videos in different topics, topics that i'm interested in such as the French Revolution, French painters, Anne Franck and the Olympic Games but everytime i was watcing a great video about one of these topics there was no citation at the end or barely the name of the person who made the video. What a disappointment!!!!
I'm sure i can find a video that will have all its work cited but so far i've been not very lucky!

So here is my video that i found on TeacherTube about Jesse Owens that was a black athlete that competed during the O.G of World War II. That year he won 4 gold medals; personally i think that God gave him the strength and the ability to show to Hitler that not only white, blond people with blue eyes were good people and successful! Hitler was surely not happy to see a black person winning so many gold medals and being appreciated from others; however, i'm sure he remembered Jesse Owen's name his whole life as someone who won the O.G during a time of crisis and hate.

Assignment #2:

I really liked this video on Youtube because the French Revolution was well explained and presented. The one who made the presentation did a very good job with all the facts and images to illustrate all his points.
However, as we learned about copyright, this student didn't cite any of his sources excepted his name and who was singing the music in the background. He didn't cite any of his images and neither his facts which were his all presentation. This student has done an excellent job but missed the fact that he is not following the rules about copyright. His presentation is a great tool for education but nobody else could use it since there's no citation at all!!! Too bad!!!

Assignement #1:
Leaving in 2010 is such a blessing because i can beneficiate from all the resources that provides internet. How amazing it is to find videos about the church with positive messages about families, faith, gratitude etc, etc... on Youtube, or to be able to go to the church website and find the scriptures or other materials in at least 4 different languages. I can go and research online to see what kind of work needs to be done for my ancestors or if i'm traveling i can look it up on lds.org and see where the closest chapel is and at what time they start their sacrement.
The church is spreading the word of God throughout the world by using this wonderful tool which is the net. Members of the church and non-members can watch live general conferences or any firesides as often they want and in the language they want. We are so blessed to have all this technology around us however it's up to us to make sure that we have limits and that we know how to control ourselves with the use of internet. It is a beautiful tool that can turn evil if not controlled!
I think there is at least one talk every general conference about the temptations that are from the net such as pornography or violence. The leaders of the church are not only talking to the members but also to people in the world. The leaders want to show that the gospel and it's truthfulness are not only for its members but also for those who are looking for the light of God in their lives.
I'm grateful for internet that allows anyone to hear about the gospel anywhere in the world in any languages!!!
Hello everybody,
So this is my first blog and i have to admit that i thought that blogs were too much of a hassle since we have to update them all the time. However, i might be wrong and might even like it by the end of this semester. Feel free to write your comments and hope to share more ideas with you. Have a great day :)
